王楠林: 现任北京大学物理学院量子材料科学中心教授,美国物理学会会士(APS Fellow).


1963 年8 月生。1982 年7 月本科毕业于郑州大学物理系,1986年1月华中理工大学物理系获硕士学位,1991 年11 月中国科学技术大学物理系低温物理专业博士毕业(学位授予1992年)。曾在德国Darmstadt技术大学固体物理研究所(Humboldt Fellow)、日本国际超电导研究中心(ISTEC Fellow and STA Fellow)、加拿大Simon Fraser 大学和McMaster 大学物理系开展研究工作。1998 年入选中科院“百人计划”,先后任中国科学院低温技术实验中心和中国科学院物理研究所研究员(其中2005年-2014年担任中国科学院极端条件物理重点实验室主任),2000 年获国家杰出青年基金。2014年7月调入北京大学。 

主要从事超导和强关联电子体系的低温物性研究,包括铜氧化物高温超导体、铁基超导体和其它非常规超导体、关联过渡金属化合物、电荷与自旋密度波系统、重费米子体系等。在多个体系的前沿研究中取得系统性和创新性研究成果,特别是在铁基超导体研究中做出系列有重要影响的原创性工作,推动了铁基超导体研究的发展,赢得该领域学术界广泛认可。在固体光谱测量技术和数据分析方面有深厚的积累,在利用该实验手段研究超导与关联电子材料方面,是国际同行中知名和有影响的专家之一。撰写和合作发表论文200 余篇(包括Phys. Rev. Lett. 30 篇、Phys. Rev. B 91篇、Nature 集团刊物(包括Nature, Nature Physics, Nature Materials, Nature Communications, Scientific Reports)10 篇),总引用8000余次。另外,应Pan Standford出版社邀请,他与铁基超导体发现者Hedio Hosono教授和美国田纳西大学戴鹏程教授一起编辑出版了第一本铁基超导英文综述书籍《Iron-based Superconductors: Materials, Properties, and Mechanisms》(2012年11月出版)。

王楠林在包括国际超导材料与机理大会、国际磁学大会、国际强关联电子系统会议、国际新超导体能谱会议、国际固体低能电动力学会议、美国物理学会年会、美国材料学会年会等该领域重要的国际学术会议上作邀请报告70 余次。参与组织多个重要国际会议或应邀担任多个国际会议的国际顾问委员会委员。2008-2014年担任国际纯粹与应用物理联合会(IUPAP)低温物理专业委员会(C5)委员。 获2008-2009 年度中国物理学会叶企孙物理奖,2009 年度香港求是科技基金会“求是杰出科技成就集体奖”,2013年国家自然科学一等奖,入选2014年汤森路透(Thomson Reuters)“中国引文桂冠奖——最具国际引文影响力奖及科研团队奖”。王楠林还多次获得中国科学院优秀研究生指导教师奖或优秀教师称号。

Materials synthesis, crystals growth and physical property studies (in particular by optical spectroscopy) of novel superconductors and correlated electron systems (iron pnictides/chalcogenides and cuprate high temperature superconductors, low dimensional CDW/SDW compounds, transition metal oxides, orbital ordering and dimension reduction systems, heavy Fermions,…), development of time domain THz spectroscopy.
